Think Big by HH Bhakti Tirtha Swami

Panca-Tattva Mangla Darshan - Sridham Mayapur
Srila Prabhupada once said that he had a disease. The disease was that he could not think small. So Prabhupada was not just giving us an ordinary religion, trying to make us accept dharma. No, he was very carefully giving us the most expedient, practical way how to perform sananata-dharma.

Srila Prabhupada said that he wanted to have Lord Caitanya, the Pancha-tattva Deities in Mayapur, to appear in life-size forms. This is very significant, because when we hear about a great person, we also think about the name [nama], appearance [rupa] and qualities [guna] of this person. And most important, what goes on in this person's life, what is the lila? And the greater the person, the more animated and the more exciting it is as we hear about these things. And the greater the person, the greater legacy they leave after they are gone, and the greater effect they have when they are present. They make an impact which permeates.

Prabhupada not thinking small means that we, his followers, are also never to think small. Because the big danger of thinking small means that we are not fully accepting Krsna's power and supreme dominion over all things. So we may think small of our own limitations, but not small in terms of what Krsna can do, and will do, if we allow Him to use us and work through us.
